This is a first chapter here of photographs I have made on the Waterrville Plateau in north-central Washington. I will add many more.

The plateau offers rich lessons in geology and natural history. During the last ice age, the Cordilleran ice sheet extended to the southern reaches of the Waterville Plateau.  Glacial landforms, moraines and erratic boulders abound, coexisting with open sagebrush uplands, flood-carved coulees, and wheat fields.
